Band together and reach out to bring Andy the help he needs. There is no excuse for this behaviour especially on behalf of the United States of America. Andy should have been seen days ago.
Please help in anyway you can.

Spoke with Stuart Denyer (in charge of the case in DC: 202-736-9163) who told me that our Consul in Nigeria has been in daily contact with Andrew, that he (Stuart) is in contact with Andy’s family, and that we are expecting “an early resolution of this case.” He also suggested I stay in touch with Aaron Soffin (soffin@gmail.com). Please advise for further action.

Andy is a former student of mine and I will do whatever I can to help. I have written Senators Schumer and Clinton and will continue to pass the word to others to do their part in letter writing.
Andy – you’re in my thoughts and prayers for a safe release.
My best,
Jeanne

I have just called both US Senators from New York. Told it looks like he may be released soon. Our prayers are with the family
